February Challenge
I don't think this will surprise you... :) February's photo challenge is to capture LOVE. Create images that define what love is to you....all kinds of love. My first attempt is parental love. I have shown you a few images from this session already-
I love these because all of their attention is turned to their sweet daughter. In the photo shoots I have had with them- they have been so much more comfortable and natural as they gaze at her. I ask them occasionally to look up at me. These images bring to mind what is it is to be a parent: a protector, one who cherishes and adores.
This last one is one of my favorites. I purposely shot it with them out of focus. It gives a feeling of privacy and that I am not even there.

man, that snowy backdrop doesn't even look real. it sure is pretty.
You manage to create warmth with snow all around them!
I am getting out my new camera NOW! I'm a little scared or should I say, imtimidated! But I will try to take on the challenge! I have an idea!

Well, if taking pictures out of focus is a skill, then I'm a genius, but I've never managed to take pictures that evoke such emotion like you can. These are simply breathtaking. I cry every time you share part of this family's story with us!

OK- here is my first attempt at the monthly challenges. I hope you like it!
I am back from vacation and moved out of my house so I am going to try to find time to get back into these wonderful challenges of yours. I am still trying to get all caught up with blogs. We are in the process of finding a place to buy but I miss taking and processing pictures so I am going to try to sqeeze in the time. LOVE the last picture! It takes my breath away.
